“My devotion for reading the Bible grew, and it grew into a heart to share the gospel.”

AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Teresita Villanueva and I recently turned 72 years old. I have been a believer for many years, but my walk with God has been unsteady until I came upon Psalm 90. Reading this verse has opened my eyes.

Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.

Psalm 90:10 (NIV)

I pondered and meditated upon this whole psalm and prayed, “Lord what have I done for you? How can I serve you? What legacy am I leaving behind? What would You want me to do?” I continued with my daily quiet time and this next verse spoke to me.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

John 15:5

As a result, my devotion for reading the Bible grew, and it grew into a heart to share the gospel. As I began sharing, I started to see how much people really needed the Lord. And this gave me the desire to become a disciple to my new brothers and sisters in Christ. I also began sharing my personal insights, as well as the insights from other faithful believers.

With that said, my heartfelt intention for this blog is to share this wonderful message of Christ’s love to you. I dedicate the words and prayers in this blog to bless my family of believers, and above all, to glorify our almighty, loving God.
